Medication Management
Are you in need of a local medication provider? Medication management can be an important part of maintaining the gains that you have made in treatment. In certain instances, medication management services are adequate, but it is best if therapy providers are also part of your treatment experience. If patients are in-between therapy or have challenges finding new providers, medication management can be sustaining, decisions to provide medication services only are made on a case by case basis. In general, I provide medication management services with a number of considerations:
- Care Coordination is required with a therapist and/or primary care providers
- No long term benzodiazepine prescriptions. Treatment goals should be directed towards lowering and tapering off long term benzodiazepine medications.
- Tele-health sessions are available for established patients. In person sessions may be required at my discretion and for periodic medical assessments. In person sessions are available on Thursdays at my Marlborough St. location.
