Kathleen Andolina, PMH CNS-BC, PC
“I provide psychotherapy, psychogenomic testing, consultation and medication treatment for individuals ages 18 – 65+. There are a variety of mental health challenges that occur across the life span that I have extensive experience in helping others manage. I am most successful in working with those who are motivated to work on these challenges and make course corrections early enough to prevent worsening of their mental health. These challenges and stressors are often associated with lifelong anxiety, depression, or complex physical health issues and occur right at the important stages of life. Often, there are difficulties associated with grief, loss and trauma. The populations I treat are students, career professionals, men, women and LGBTQ+ populations as well as those from many ethnic, racial and class backgrounds.
As an Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse, I help people recover, heal and take charge of their emotional health by offering therapy, education and judicious use of medication in a warm, attentive and welcoming manner. Genomic testing allows me to tailor treatment to an individuals’ personal and unique biology. I am dedicated to lifelong learning and stay up to date with industry trends and clinical best practices. In addition, I stay active in my professional organization, including as acting Chair of the Massachusetts Association of Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurses (MAAPPN)
My many years of practice allows me to draw on a deep understanding of people experiencing mental health issues, as well as provide care that is relevant and individualized. I welcome those who can be active and engaged in treatment.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Boston College. Additionally, I am Board Certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center as a Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing.
